Recognition for PhD student of the Institute of Inorganic Chemical Technology and Environmental Engineering 15.10.2018 09:31

On September 12-13, 2018 in Katowice, the third edition of the scientific and business conference InterNanoPoland 2018 took place. During the Conference, PhD student of the Institute of Inorganic Chemical Technology and Environmental Engineering, Ms. Eng. Urszula Nowosielecka was awarded in the 'Best paper' category for the papers presented during the Conference.

PhD student presented research results obtained by the research team during the implementation of the project "Preparation and investigation of physicochemical properties of nanocrystalline iron and nanocrystalline nitrides, carbides and oxides with specified crystallite sizes" in the LIDER program (Project no. LIDER / 025/489 / L-5/13 / NCBR / 2014), managed by Ph.D, D. Sc. Eng. Rafal Pelka.

InterNanoPoland 2018 is an international forum for scientist, entrepreneurs, business support organizations and students working in nanomaterials and nanotechnology sector. Conference is organized by the NANONET Foundation and the Silesian NANO Cluster. This year's edition of the conference was held in cooperation with the City of Katowice and numerous sponsors and partners.

INP2018 presented the latest scientific and industrial achievements in the nanotechnology and advanced materials, as well as enabled a dialogue between the world of science and business.

The third edition of the conference focused on science in industry applicatory issues,  materials functionalization and use in medicine, achievements in ethical and legislative areas, newest research and development equipment, and the possibilities of co-joint R&D projects. The conference program includes scientific and business sessions as well as sessions dedicated to financing projects and scientific research.
