The rules of conducting the teaching classes cancelled from March 12 to March 25, 2020 19.03.2020 14:59

by Ordinance No. 33 of the Rector of West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin of March 12, 2020 on taking actions at the University to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus

1. All courses included in the study plans scheduled for the period of suspension between 12.03.2020 and 25.03.2020 must be completed at a later date in the form originally planned or using distance learning methods and techniques.
2. It is possible to conduct the classes referred to in section 1 using distance learning methods and techniques, despite the lack of such information in syllabuses of courses/class modules.
3. The rules of conducting classes with the use of distance learning methods and techniques must be in accordance with the Ordinance No. 71 of the Rector of WPUT of October 9, 2019 on the introduction of the Rules of conducting classes with the use of distance learning methods and techniques at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.
4. The teacher interested in conducting classes using distance learning methods and techniques shall obtain the written consent of the Dean, within a period set by the Dean, for such form of conducting classes. Such permission should be issued for a specified number of hours and form of classes based on the materials presented by the teacher, in accordance with § 2 of Act 3 of the appendix to Ordinance No. 71 of the Rector of WPUT of October 9, 2019.
5. In addition, the teacher applying for teaching classes using distance learning methods and techniques should indicate the hours of direct consultation with students and the date on which these classes will be conducted. On this basis, the dean may consider the conduct of classes cancelled between March 12, 2020 and March 25, 2020 as completed.
6. The Dean is responsible for informing students about the dates and principles of conducting classes using distance learning methods and techniques.
7. In the case of the Dean's disapproval of conducting classes in the form indicated in pt. 2, the classes scheduled for the period from March 12, 2020 to March 25, 2020 shall be considered as not completed and a deadline shall be set for their completion in the XP University system.
8. The University shall provide, among other things, available tools (the use of which may be treated as equivalent to the platforms defined in § 1, section 6 of Ordinance No. 71 of the Rector of WPUT of October 9, 2019):
1) Moodle WPUT,
2) MS Teams,
3) Skype,
4) Online University System.
