Building Capacity and Future Priorities
Day one centred on institutional capacity building, community-engaged scholarship, and student employability, including discussions on models such as the Quintuple Helix. On day two, attention shifted to embedding engagement in teaching, learning, and research. A highlight was the presentation of the WP4 Action Plan 2029–2033, setting the direction for the years ahead.
Beyond Borders Conference
The programme featured the launch of Beyond Borders: The European EUNICoast Alliance between Innovation and Territory. Community Engagement and Development Strategies. The conference brought together academic, institutional, and civic perspectives to discuss higher education’s contribution to regional innovation and sustainable development.
Towards a Shared Impact
Joint sessions with the Impact and Dissemination commission (WP7) allowed participants to review impact measures and stakeholder involvement, ensuring a cohesive approach across the Alliance. The Sassari meeting marked an important milestone for WP4, consolidating progress and reaffirming EUNICoast’s commitment to engagement at the core of its mission.
