The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin is extending its cooperation with Grupa Azoty Police. The agreement provides for substantive and practical support for students, doctoral students, and faculty members by organizing lectures, internships, consultations and joint research and development projects.

 The agreement was signed on Thursday, February 17, 2022, by the rector of the university, prof. Jacek Wróbel, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering prof. Krzysztof Okarma and representatives of the management board of Grupa Azoty Police.

We highly appreciate the openness of university authorities to the needs of employers and the adaptation of the faculties and curriculum to our expectations. Thanks to this, high-class specialists who will find employment in accordance with their education enter the labour market. Grupa Azoty is looking for employees “tailored” to our needs, emphasized Mariusz Grab, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Police.

Specialists from Grupa Azoty Police will provide substantive support in joint research projects, organizing student internships and internships for graduates of the faculty as well as student visits with lecturers on the company's premises, close cooperation of Azoty Police employees with academic teachers of the faculty.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering has a reputation that it has been building since 1946.

Our faculty has been cooperating with Grupa Azoty since 2013 in the implementation of student apprenticeships. Extending the cooperation will make our educational offer more attractive for future candidates - said prof. Krzysztof Okarma, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin is gradually expanding the group of enterprises and companies with which they pursue joint research goals.
