We start cooperation with the Maritime Science Centre 18.03.2022 11:30

Joint research and educational projects, organizing scientific conferences, temporary exhibitions, shows - such initiatives are envisaged in the agreement on cooperation between the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology and the Marine Science Centre, signed on Tuesday, March 15 this year.

 The purpose of the agreement is cooperation on scientific and research services, conducting research, scientific support of MCN employees provided by specialists from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering (scientists, doctoral students, students), organizing and conducting specialist trainings, scientific and technical conferences, science picnics and festivals, cooperation in organizing of temporary exhibitions and shows for various age groups. In addition, the university will support the MCN in equipping biological-chemical, physical-mechatronic and pattern shop, and in undertaking various types of educational initiatives.

As part of the cooperation with MCN, the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology is preparing the first, joint educational stand, you will be able to visit during this year's university open days on March 17-18. At the "Unknown depths of the oceans" stand, future students will explore the depths of the underwater world.

The contract was signed on Tuesday, March 15 this year. The document was signed by representatives of both institutions - the rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, prof. Jacek Wróbel and Witold Jabłoński the director of the Professor Jerzy Stelmach Maritime Science Centre.
