Rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology chairman of the Collegium of Rectors in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship 24.07.2020 09:26

July 13, 2020 Rector of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin professor Jacek Wróbel was appointed new chairman of the Collegium of Rectors in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. He replaced professor Tadeusz Bohdal. The choice was made unanimously by the rectors of West Pomeranian public universities. Professor Jacek Wróbel will be the chairman of the Collegium in the 2020-2024 term of office on September 1

Collegium of Rectors in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship includes rectors of the Maritime University in Szczecin, Koszalin University of Technology, Academy of Art in Szczecin, Pomeranian Medical University, University of Szczecin and West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.

The main tasks of the collegium include the integration of the academic community of Western Pomerania, exchange of experiences, deliberations and solving mutual problems, research and academic cooperation between universities.

Collegium of Rectors in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, at the request of voivodship and local government authorities’ states opinions on matters significant for the development of the entire voivodeship. It supports numerous inter-university initiatives in the science and technology outreach activities and provides patronage over the West Pomeranian Nobles.
