Students from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering operating under scientific support of prof. Maria Kaszynska and Norbert Olczyk PhD this time won the 10th place in the Analysis Test category and the 14th place in the Design Prediction category.
To add more, a student of Civil Engineering Karolina Iwańska, twice a winer of the Minister of Science Scholarship for significant scientific achievements, presented a poster with a part of research results conducted within her engineering paper entitled The impact of the diameter and the length of polymer fibers on the slurry contraction through drying prepared under supervision of Adam Zielinski Eng, PhD, Assist. Active practice of ACI Chapter at ZUT – the only ACI student chapter in Poland and also one of 350 American Concrete Institute student chapters existing in the world – since years results in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering students successes in the country and abroad. It also helps to develop their interests in modern technologies in construction industry.
