We are also planning further actions in architectural adjustments, among others, an elevator will be built at one of the faculties. Through specialized training, we will raise the awareness and competence of staff, which will translate into an increase in the availability of educational offer for people with disabilities - said PhD Eng. Dominika Plust, representative for disabled students and doctoral students.

The "Accessible University" program is financed from European Funds – Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development (PO WER). Planned budget of the program was PLN 200 million, but in the end - thanks to the high quality of submitted projects was increased by over PLN 121 million, so that all applications recommended for co-financing would receive funds - we read in the NCBR's announcement.

Universities could submit their projects under one of three paths - mini, midi or maxi, depending on the stage of advancement of accessibility activities and the maximum amount requested.
