5.12.2019Grants from the National Science Centre for WPUTProfessor Mirosława El Fray, Professor Sylwia Mozia and Professor Urszula Narkiewicz from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering WPUT, received almost PLN 4.5 million for the implementation of their research projects. The ranking lists of the OPUS 17 and PRELUDIUM 17 contest included over half a thousand projects worth PLN 390.3 million.

26.11.2019Outstanding young scientists from WPUT appreciated by Minister of Science and Higher EducationSandra Ilona Paszkiewicz and Piotr Franciszczak from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics of WPUT were among 211 outstanding young scientists who received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The list of scholarship winners was published on Friday by the Ministry of Science.

12.11.2019Rafał Rakoczy among the nominated professorsThe Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Rafał Rakoczy received a title of professor from the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda. During the ceremony, which took place on November 6 at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, 67 academic teachers as well as science and art staff received the nomination acts.

Among the winners for doctoral and post-doctoral dissertations, as well as scientific and implementation activities for 2018 was PhD., Eng. Among them, a student from WPUT in Szczecin.Hanna Gałuszka, a student of automatic control and robotics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Technology in Szczecin, found herself in the elite group of the 25 most talented students of computer science and related fields. Intel Technology in cooperation with the Perspektywy Educational Foundation for the 5th time awarded prestigious scholarships in the "New Technologies for Girls 2018" program.
