25.05.2020“Politechniki Pomagają” WPUT in the fight against COVID-19Polish polytechnics have been helping in the fight against coronavirus for many weeks - they prepare 3D protective visors, organize fundraisers, provide hospitals with laboratory equipment, infrared cameras and join the work on the prototype of the ventilator.
18.05.2020Engineer from Szczecin printed the ventilator on a 3D printer. Prototype will be tested soonDr Eng. Marcin Królikowski from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics WPUT has developed a prototype ventilator using a 3D printer. It is a modified VentilAid, the device of Krakow engineers.

Project of scientists from WPUT and Norway highly rated by the National Centre for Research and DevelopmentIn the POLNOR CCS competition, which focuses on the carbon dioxide capture and storage, 6 out of 17 submitted applications were selected. The Polish-Norwegian project coordinated by the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering WPUT received co-financing for a total amount of PLN 8 million, of which WPUT will receive nearly PLN 5 million. The maximum project implementation period is 3 years.

2.04.2020WPUT defeated Warsaw University of Technology in a construction challengeA team of four from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture WPUT are the finals of the international challenge "The Trail" organized by Vinci Construction - the largest construction company in the world. In the semi-final, WPUT beat two teams from the Warsaw University of Technology and qualified for the final, which will take place on May 28 in France. Due to the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, the final will be conducted remotely.
