12.03.2020Information for WPUT students and employees who have returned from regions threatened by the coronavirusBased on Act of 20 July 2018, Article 23, Section 1 on The Law on Higher Education and Science, in line with recommendations issued by the Main Sanitary Inspectorate of Poland and World Health Organization, WPUT stops all international departures and arrivals of students, doctoral students and employees to and from countries named by the Main Sanitary Inspector.
12.03.2020Information about international arrivals during coronavirus epidemicAs the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 continues to spread, Main Sanitary Inspectorate website updates a list of countries and regions where the risk is high. On 4 March, 2020, WPUT authorities decided to stop, until further notice, all international departures and arrivals of students, doctoral students and university staff to and from those regions/countries. Consequently, all scheduled mobility at WPUT, particularly including international arrivals, should be closely monitored

WPUT Rector College decisionWPUT Rector College has decided to suspend all travels and visits of students, PhD students and employees to and from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, northern Italy (specifically to/from the area of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna) and Lazio, Iran, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. The decision is valid from 26 February 2020 untif further notice.
17.02.2020Scientists from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics WPUT made replicas of 13th and 16th century sculptures using a CNC Milling MachineReplica of the 13th-century statue "Mary with the Child" from Gardno and the 16th-century bas-relief depicting the Apostles were made at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin using a CNC Milling Machine. The tool, usually used in industry, allowed to reproduce the smallest details of works of art.
17.02.2020PhD students from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering WPUT are the winners of the "Leader" programPaulina Bednarczyk and Paweł Adamski were recognized by The National Centre for Research and Development and joined the group of 42 talented young scientists from all over the country. They received almost PLN 3 million to carry out their innovative research.
17.02.2020West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin on the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructure for the first timeThe Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published a list of strategic research infrastructures creating the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructure. The list included WPUT with the project - "Centre of Advanced Materials and Engineering of Manufacturing Processes". The map brings together infrastructures with the highest potential for scientific excellence, consolidating research potential in fields relevant to the development of science and the country.
14.01.2020Success of the Children's Choir of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in SzczecinThe 41st International CHORUS INSIDE CHRISTMAS Competition in Budapest has ended. The Don Diri Don choir has won several prestigious awards.
