Based on Act of 20 July 2018, Article 23, Section 1 on The Law on Higher Education and Science, in line with recommendations issued by the Main Sanitary Inspectorate of Poland and World Health Organization, WPUT stops all international departures and arrivals of students, doctoral students and employees to and from countries named by the Main Sanitary Inspector.12.03.2020Information about international arrivals during coronavirus epidemic
As the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 continues to spread, Main Sanitary Inspectorate website updates a list of countries and regions where the risk is high. On 4 March, 2020, WPUT authorities decided to stop, until further notice, all international departures and arrivals of students, doctoral students and university staff to and from those regions/countries. WPUT Rector College has decided to suspend all travels and visits of students, PhD students and employees to and from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, northern Italy (specifically to/from the area of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna) and Lazio, Iran, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. Replica of the 13th-century statue "Mary with the Child" from Gardno and the 16th-century bas-relief depicting the Apostles were made at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin using a CNC Milling Machine. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published a list of strategic research infrastructures creating the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructure. The list included WPUT with the project - "Centre of Advanced Materials and Engineering of Manufacturing Processes".
